AMICOS Online login guide

 

This document describes how to login into the AMICOS Online application. You should already have been provided with two login credentials; one for Windows Terminal Server, and another for the AMICOS application itself. If not, you will have to request login credentials as described at http://www.amicos.com/TryAMICOSOnline.htm

 

Step 1

 

At the webpage http://www.amicos.com/TryAMICOSOnline.htm, click the AMICOS Online Login button as indicated by the blue arrow in this picture:

Step 2

 

If not already installed, Internet Explorer's Info bar, may prompt you to install the Remote Desktop ActiveX control. Click the info bar and chosse Install ActiveX Control.

(note: you will need local administrator rights to install the ActiveX component)

 

Click Accept

 

Step 3

A Internet Explorer Security Warning may be displayed. Click the Install button

(note: you will need local administrator rights to install the ActiveX component)

 

Click the Install button to proceed.

 

Step 4

 

A Remote Desktop to the AMICOS Online demo server is now being established and a Windows Terminal Server login form is displayed. Enter the Windows Terminal Server username and password that was e-mailed to you, and click OK. 

 

Enter Windows username and password and click OK.

 

Step 5

 

AMICOS will be started automatically upon Windows login. To login into the AMICOS application, enter the AMICOS username and password that was e-mailed to you, and click Connect.

 

Enter AMICOS username and password and click Connect.

 

Step 6

 

Congratulatons! - you are now logged in to AMICOS Online. You may be presented with License warning. This can safely be ignored, just click Yes to proceed. Enjoy!
