Sterling airlines acquired by Cimber – re launched under the new brand Cimber Sterling
March, 2009
Last year, in December 2008 Cimber Air took over important assets from the estate after Sterling’s bankruptcy earlier in the autumn. Cimber have been working intensely to establish a profitable new entity with a new network, based on “sunshine-destinations” required by the Danish people.
As we speak several aircrafts, Boeing 737-700 is in operation and more to come. As a part of acquiring Sterling, Cimber took over the licences and the AMICOS application and database from the estate.
In these hard times for the industry we are proud to be a member of the Cimber family, who dare to challenge new opportunities and markets.

EuroLOT S.A in Warsaw has signed for AMICOS II
January, 2007
We are proud to be selected by a major and high-profile European regional operator. EuroLOT operates a mixed fleet of ATR 42 and 72, and will become another major ATR operator in the Amicos family.
EuroLOT is a high profile and important regional airline and we are proud to be selected as their partner for the future. We are very pleased to be awarded this contract, with which we strengthen our capabilities towards the regional market in general and ATR operators in particular.
We have already initialised the project and in cooperation with the project team in EuroLOT the project scope is now to be described and prepared in detail. The solution, including hardware, application software and databases is already
established at EuroLOT’s offices in Warsaw.
EuroLOT and Cimber Air Data AS will establish a project schedule that accommodates the various constraints. Typical milestones are the data mining and data load, establishment and testing of the infrastructure, procedure changes and description and approval of these, training of users, establishment of business processes, report forms and layout and a "feasible go-live" plan. In the overall plan we need to consider available resources, peak periods for operation and maintenance etc. , to ensure that the people who run the project are available.
We value the confidence that has been shown to us, and we look forward to turning the project into another successful AMICOS operation. Our team of dedicated analysts, programmers, educators and consultants will ensure a smooth transition to AMICOS, providing EuroLOT value for money and return on their investment.
